Sea Visuals was founded by Chelsea Griffin aka “Sea.” Chelsea’s journey with photography began when she was just 4 years old, holding her first disposable camera. Back then she loved dressing up dolls and animals for impromptu photo shoots—a playful start to what would become her lifelong passion.

 

By age 7, becoming a “professional photografer” was officially on her list of goals. She attended the University of South Carolina in 2010 with sports medicine as her major eventually finding that her true passion was to be an artist. With the help of her Mother she got a DSLR camera and the Adobe Creative suite where she taught herself and learned through experience.

 

By 2012 Chelsea dropped out of college and went full force doing free gigs, volunteering as a second shooter, doing whatever it took to build a portfolio.

 

In 2014, Chelsea moved to LA where she was shooting music and dance artists. By 2015 she moved to Colorado where she began doing extreme sports and wedding photography. She then went on to Maui where she worked for Hawaii Pro Photography doing family portraits and real estate photography.

 

By 2017 Sea Visual’s was finally born in Telluride, CO when Chelsea realized she wanted to work for herself instead of other companies. That being said, she absolutely loves collaborating with other companies especially start ups. She believes that bringing a visual aspect to a company is very powerful and the seed to success.

 

Chelsea has done several collaborations in the cannabis industry including events such as World Cannabis Week, Cannabis Cup, Emerald Cup, High Times, My 420 Tours, Green Dot, Buddy Boy, Nor Cal Cannabis Co, 1Lyfe, Panacea, Moon Made Farms, OTG Organics, Pakamana, and more.
